Acrylic on canvas.
76×102cm
The Keeper is the first in a series exploring the connection between man and beast. These figures sit somewhere between rider and animal, not fully separate, not fully the same.
Set within a darker world of mythic plains, the work looks at that bond as something ancient and instinctive, where the horse is not just ridden, but held and understood.
It asks where that connection comes from, and whether there’s a space where man and animal meet as one.
