Acrylic on canvas, 102 × 102 cm.
Midnight Between Us draws on my interest in story and myth, and the spaces that exist between opposing forces. The composition is pared back to two dominant fields, creating a quiet tension that feels both ancient and unresolved. I wanted the work to suggest something held just out of reach, a meeting point that never fully settles.
Through restraint and scale, the painting invites a slower reading. It exists as a kind of threshold, where atmosphere takes precedence over narrative, and where meaning is felt rather than defined.
