(SOLD) Acrylic on canvas, 51 × 76 cm.
Seam explores tension through division and balance. The composition is split into two distinct fields, held together by a narrow boundary that becomes the focus of the work. I was interested in that point of contact, where contrast sharpens awareness and opposing elements are forced into relationship.
The painting reflects a quiet duality, light and weight, restraint and pressure. By keeping the structure simple, the seam itself becomes a place of friction, suggesting connection as much as separation.
